Saint Petersburg Residence

The Project

A contemporary apartment in Saint Petersburg within a historic building. The design combines classical elements — mouldings, a period fireplace, herringbone parquet — with resolutely modern furniture. The generous volumes and the northern light guided the choice of materials: pale marble, blond timber, linen textiles. Each room was conceived as a tableau, where contemporary art converses with nineteenth-century architecture.
