Competitions & tenders

When the image has to win the room

A competition render does a different job from a pretty picture. It goes in front of a jury working through a stack of submissions, and it has to make the idea legible at a glance — the gesture, the light, the scale.

I have produced the images for more than twenty competitions and tenders, on studio bids across hospitality, restaurants and offices. What decides them is almost never the level of detail: it is whether the project reads without the caption.

A competition turns on a date. I work from your drawings as early as the concept stage, and a view ships in one to three days depending on scope — a bedroom is not a lobby, and a whole hotel is not a single room.

How many views, and how many rounds, is set with the quote; on a long series a fixed price is usually fairer.

Who it's for

  • Architecture & interior studios
  • Developers & property funds
  • Hoteliers & hospitality groups

Based in Île-de-France, I work remotely as readily as on site: a render does not require being in the same room.

How it works

  1. 01

    Framing

Your drawings, your references, the intent. We settle on the views that serve the project — usually fewer than you would expect.

  2. 02

    3D

Modelling, materials, light. You see an image before the finish pass: that is when a framing or a mood gets corrected, not at the end.

  3. 03

    Delivery

High-resolution images, in the formats your submission needs. Ready for a jury, a client presentation or a brochure.
