Parisian duplex — interior design in Paris, France

Parisian duplex

Paris, France · 2025

Complete redesign of a Parisian duplex conceived around a single gesture: a staircase-library linking the two levels. The steps become shelving, the living room gathers around the double-height void — a project designed in photorealistic 3D, with the site completing in summer 2026.

The context

A Parisian duplex with generous volumes, yet partitioned and under-used. The brief: create a warm home built around books and light, making the most of the existing double height.

My role

A private commission led from design through art direction: plans, the staircase-library design, furniture and material selection, lighting. The 3D visualisations validated every decision with the clients.

The approach & the 3D

The guiding choice: make the staircase the project’s central piece of furniture. Each step extends into shelving; the double-height void becomes the heart of the living room. Photorealistic renders locked proportions, materials and light before the first cut.

Materials & light

A warm, enveloping palette — wood, brass, velvet — lifted by powder-pink and black accents. A backlit mirror and graphic pendants give rhythm to the double height.

Toward delivery

The site completes in summer 2026. Photographs of the finished spaces will then join this page — alongside the 3D perspectives that preceded them, from drawing to reality.
